When Lucas Arts announced a major downsizing of its games division, Infinity Ward took it upon themselves to reach out to those most hurt by the announcement. Namely, Lucas Arts developers.

Since their game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was top of the Xbox Live charts that week they made a guess. They figured that the recently laid off would be drowning their sorrows in frag grenades and sniper fire and used that direct channel to try and snag some of the best and brightest.
