Newsweek has a clever way of displaying the day's opinion poll. Since opinion polls have historically been one of the most popular elements to any site's homepage, it's nice to see that someone has rethought how to present one.
Instead of a list consisting of nebulous statements such as "Strongly Agree", "Somewhat Disagree", etc, Newsweek employs a sliding scale approach. People can visually represent how strong their opinion or how weak their opinion is on one side of the other.
This allows for a more accurate representation of public opinion visually without resorting to a more complicated graph of multiple bars and numbers.
