Well, after 2 years of waiting, and drooling (and begging my wife), I've finally snagged myself an iPhone. And yes, it was worth the wait.
I'm not going to go into too many details right now. I'm sure that there will be a lot of posts in the future related to its elegant operating system and plethora of interesting apps.
I'd like to point out something about the packaging that set everything off in the right direction.
When you open up the box (and get past the initial fondling of the phone itself), you find a small black packet. Inside it you're greeted with the documentation: a simple white booklet with typically apple typesetting. Clean, simple and clever; it simply reads "Finger Tips".
Those two words tell you that you're in the right place. This isn't just a phone, it's an experience, and one to take joy in.
