What did my Delicious Library just say to me?

Delicious Library is a great utility for any geek who has a robust media collection. It works very simply. All you have to do is hold up the barcode on a DVD, video game, book, etc, to your Macbook's built in webcam and voila; it's fed directly into your library.

The look and feel of the application is very unique. Employing a real world shelf motif and engaging animations to represent actions taken by the user. All of this really adds up to an enjoyable user experience.

Something completely unexpected happened though when I was scanning in my copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I was continuing to gather other movies to scan when my laptop whispered to me "Voldemort" in a really creepy voice.

The application designer obviously has a great sense of humour and reveals himself by including this hidden little gem in his work. It remind the user that there's a real person behind the software and that a lot of love and care has gone into creating the software.

Suffice to say it was a really cool moment, and if you don't get why, go read the book already.
