Starcraft II gives you a history lesson

Starcraft II from Blizzard came out recently, and if you haven't heard it's kind of a big deal. I never really played the first Starcraft, which is surprising given my geeky pedigree. So I thought I'd give this one a try.

My good old reliable MacBook Pro just hit all the minimum requirements to play the game so I went out and got myself a copy. What I'd forgotten about playing games on a computer as a opposed to a gaming console though was the install. And what an install it was; about 7.5gigs and 37853 files worth. As you can imagine, it took some time.

I started to leave the room when a voice boomed out of my speakers. I ran back and found that the installer was giving me a complete history of the Starcraft universe and the events leading up to this instalment. I sat down to watch the show. Turns out I would have been completely lost had I not done so.
